Revive the hillustrative script - Request

Hello tim , Could you revive the hillustrative.scm script written by Sebastien Guyader (https://discuss.pixls.us/users/sguyader/activity)? I know there is an option in G'MIC (Illustration Look), but the result I got via G'MIC and via Pat David 's tutorial steps at ( https://pixls.us/articles/highlig...

Re: Better or worse

Thanks Krikor, it pleases me to know that I have made possible improvements. Tim, you are welcome :-) I just stated my preference, it's totally personal, subjective. Anyone can have another preference, or not. But... in a way, there is a certain equivalence between both rules, watch this video http...

@tim ,
In the forest image, I liked the original better, although that element in the bottom right should be removed.

Re: Better or worse

Just watched a youtube video on composition and learned about rule of thirds and golden spiral/ratio. I thought I'd play with public domain images. and see if these rules make the image look more pleasing.... So thoughts? which one do you like better.? butterfly-original.jpgbutterfly-golden-spiral....
