Re: Palette from Tile Grid Plug-in

Tim, must be my lucky day.

Being an elderly sort of old guy I don't think I've ever looked beyond the first few default rows of the smilies.

I feel like I'll be using "oops" a lot.

Re: Scrolling to Preview Layer Modes

Replying to myself months later, I found in GIMP 2.10.14 that GEGL CURVES presets are now scrollable with the mouse wheel. Like the Layer Modes scrolling, a small thing that might be useful to know for those who enjoy exploring.

Re: Palette from Tile Grid Plug-in

Pat, I am so sorry for adding to the confusion. There is only the one version of the "Palette from Tile Grid Plug-in" and it is located in the first post of this main thread. There are three versions of the "exporting to html table" script/plugin (which was a sharp turn in the middle of the thread) ...

Re: Palette from Tile Grid Plug-in

Pat, I believe the "third version" actually refers to another script for exporting palettes:

"For exporting to html table try: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1643&p=19134"

and not the palette-making script itself, which has only two versions.

Re: GIMP 2.10.xx official vs. Partha vs. Samj

Rich, thanks for your clarification on the different versions of GIMP. Newbies, like myself, come across references to them pretty quickly while exploring the forums but thereafter there isn't much explanation. For me, "Do not flood Gimp with dozens of scripts / plugins / brushes / fonts ... " shoul...

Possibly now's the time to review the old Arthur C. Clarke story "The Nine Billion Names of God."

Classic Rose 20 Years Later

Mavica FD Rose Posterize tt SilkScreen dn LQTX clrs.jpg Twenty years ago I made a Mavica Floppy Disk image of a flower in my neighbor's front yard. About an hour ago I used a tweaked "Simplify" script [by Tim Tran] to make a 64-color dithered image. Then used a tweaked "Easy Voronoi" script [by Die...

Re: Butterfly House

Good to hear you're doing better. Thanks for sharing the butterfly. The green and red of the leaves and flower showing through transparent wings is something I never saw so clearly before. Wouldn't have even known to look for such a thing in a butterfly.
