Even though I have no idea what this is for (other than what you described in the title).
Cool though, I didn't think they had this sort of computerized controls in 1990 car.

I was thinking that you would get some hits with the description..
Plus maybe someone will use it to make some art.
I am at work, so thought I would post a photo...
Here is the front..

And yes, even before this they had some digital electronics
early on in 1972 I remember some controllers that went
bad and ruined engines by advancing the ignition 60 to 70 degrees.
Brand new cars had to have the engines replaced (by the factory)

Personally, I like the controller board photo better,
more colors to it!

That last photo reminds me of the K-reliant car (first car i had myself) i had not exactly the same but similar age wise.

I remember K cars, a company I worked for used them as company cars.
My dad had a Dodge Omni...
I still own a Dodge Rampage (L-car) which is a small front wheel drive pickup.
1984.
It just sits in the garage at this time, unrestored.
