7z

Could anyone give me any info an 7z files? I download some patterns but I have no idea where they go. They don't have the usual pat. I didn't want to try and put them in the wrong place so basically they are just taking up space with no use.

What I know (not a definitive answer) 7z is a zipped format so you need to unzip them.
Patterns file extensions are .pat .png and .jpeg
That's what I know, does it help?

Nancy - I use the 7 ZIP program all the time as my standard zip/unzip utility; you can download here http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

RJKD I don't know how I didn't see your reply, thank you for the help. It wouldn't unzip like the normal ones so I was kind of lost lol. Tin's link made it easy!
