Since I did write a Cross Stitch Generator I should test it myself

Since I did write a Cross Stitch Generator in GIMP, the auto method and the manual color matching method:
auto method: generate-cross-stitch-pattern-and-dmc-t ... r-gimp-519
manual color matching method: generate-cross-stitch-pattern-and-manua ... r-gimp-520
I should test it myself (full process).
I have never cross-stitched before.
But I generated this small pattern (manually color matched)
gimp_logo.jpg
gimp_logo.jpg # (222.38 KiB) Viewed 461 times (Watermarked | Thumbnail)
gimp_logo_thread.jpg
gimp_logo_thread.jpg # (49.75 KiB) Viewed 460 times (Watermarked | Thumbnail)
gimp_logo.xcf #
(1023.36 KiB) Downloaded 15 times
gimp_logo_thread.xcf #
(112.09 KiB) Downloaded 16 times
I just ordered (online) the 10 colors of thread on https://www.everythingcrossstitch.com a piece of Aida cloth (18 count) and a set of needles.
I shall try to cross-stitch this pattern.
I will share my result once finished.
Wish me luck.

Interesting.
It seems that no one has tried to cross-stitch the GIMP logo yet.
Or if they have, none of them tried to post it to the internet yet.
I searched for "gimp logo cross stitch" and my GIMP logo pattern showed up saying it's a few days old but other than that no image results for a cross-stitched GIMP logo.
So hopefully, when/if I finished my GIMP logo cross-stitch, it'll be the only one on the internet so it's consider unique content.
Any unique content is good for the site (I guess/hope).

Tin, I did a lot of of cross-stitch. But since a few months I have a physical problem whereby I can't do my hobby. I am very interested in your cross-stitch generator. It's a pity I can't try this out at the moment. I hope later.
These are my latest works 3 birth gifts.

Good luck with your experiment

Wow those are amazing cross-stitches... My GIMP logo seems way too simple compared to those.
I hope you'll be able to physically as well and that will be great.

Thanks Pat, that is really kind :)

I downloaded and printed the files. Thanks Tin! I don't have the right DMC colors, although I have a lot. Maybe I'll try it in different colors when I have less pain.
As a beginner I also started with small and simple cross-stitch patterns.
These ones I made after some years of practice.
