Background removal

I have tried layer masks, selections and scripts - however I can't shift stray pixels from around the angels, (bear in mind I'm a relative newcomer to all these methods). Have I chosen a difficult image or can I sharpen my practice, any help would be appreciated, thank you.

how's this one?
I just use color select and put threshold to about 30. and clicked on the sky, the feather selection by 2 pixlels and delete.
It's not so great, i still see sort of an outline around the angels.

here's a video I did on background removal...pt2 of a 3 part series. If @admin would have inverted selection (Select/Invert selection) after delete, then "Select/border [feather border] 1-3 pixels" then "Filters/ Gausian blur [to your liking]" it would blend over any background. Oh....the video..(sorry about the terrible video quality.):
