Curve Bend filter - jagged edges

I am using quite a small amount of curve, although several of them. I can't get clean edges with smooth or free (is this called pixelation?). Does anyone know if it's possible to make a good clean edge.
I attach my image.

Curve Bend seem to produce pixalated result for me too.
Not sure how to get smooth result.
If the bending of the pattern wasn't needed, where you're just bending a shape you could convert the selected shape to a path afterwards and work with the path it usually is smoother after it's converted to a path.
But it looks like you want to curve bend the texture too that's where i don't know how to get smooth results.

A top piece of curtain, like you may see at a theatre. I think the reason I can't get the shaping is I used blurred painting rather then creating a texture, not sure?...
