Yes Nancy, it is fun. Find a pattern or change you want to make in an existing regular font and go from there. We have instructions in our tutorial section. If you need some help, just ask. Tin, Wallace, Rod, and some others were the ones who got the Gimp custom fonts going, and Tin wrote the scripts. If you are up for a lot of reading, there is a long thread or two on Gimp Chat about how they did it. I am always amazed at their ingenuity.

Oh wow Pat thank you so much, it blows my mind every time I complete a script or tutorial. Math has always been my worst subject so the numbers lose me at times but it's incredible!!! :yay_yay_purple:

Very true Pat, so many wonderful things to try can be overwhelming but in a good way lol. I did have a quick question though, for anyone really. Can I make like a xcf file with all the glyph characters using just a regular font and call it back up and change the font as well as customize it? Or do you need to create each font style and the customization and create a new xcf each time?

Do you mean to use a regular font as a starting .xcf before you customize it and save it as a different .xcf? So that you have a base .xcf to work off of for other custom fonts?
Yes, you can. All you need is to save each finished custom .xcf with a different name. So that you could have one called base.xcf (or any name you like) for example and then just customize it and then after you're done you can save as a different .xcf name and that would be a different font.
I hope I understood your question.
