Double Glow Effect with Custom Font Tools – Quick Tutorial

Step 1: Use Custom Font FaceMaker
Add the decorative face to a plain custom font base. It is probably best to choose a pattern with areas of high contrast.

Step 2: Use Custom Font Metallic Effects
Apply a gold metal finish without any emboss.

Step 3: Use Custom Font Bevel Reflect BRL
Apply a bevel to the font shaping.

Step 4: Use Custom Font Outer Glow
Apply a distressed outer glow in the lightest glow shade you want to use.
If you have no kerning paths then you will not need to set the modify kerning option.

Step 5 (Optional): Use Custom Font Outer Glow
Repeat the glow effect if necessary (remember to re-set ‘Increase character layer size’ to zero).

Step 6: Use Custom Font Outer Glow
Add a smaller amount of distressed glow in a slightly darker glow shade.
