Thank you, Richard, Pat and Issabella. I wanted to try Blender one more time because I think "The ring", Gollum's Precious is made in a 3D program.
Maybe one day I will be able to make one.
There are some tuts about it, but not detailed enough, at least for my little knowledge about Blender.

Today it was my grandmother's birthday. It's already several years she past away.
A few years ago I made this remembrance for her.
On the photo I used for it she was about 20.

Ella - love that Blender ring; today I am going to try and emulate it with GIMP

I also like your Grand Mother,s portrait, so simple yet effective. I only vaguely remember my Grand Mother, as I was still at primary school when she passed on - so, so long ago now.

OMG and Nancy, thank you very much for your kind words, they made me a bit emotional...

OMG, I had the luck to know both of my grandmothers very well.

My father's mother died at the age of almost 94, I then was 34.

The first 4 years of my life, my family and me lived with my mother's mother.
The last 4 years of her live she stayed in our house.
She became 91, I then was 22.
With her I had a very special bond and I'm sure she watches over me ...

Good luck with it, OMG  :)

Ella, beautiful creation to your loving Grand-Mother. I love it. :gimp_clap:
Your creation has made me remember that I made one created in Gimp to my daughter and granddaughter. Here what I got. I keep some of images needed in PNG. if someone needs them, please let me know. :D

Ella, you created a beautiful loving tribute to your Grandmother, from memory of your spinning coin I think I see a strong resemblance of you and her? Thankyou for sharing.
