Freaky Details (Calvin Hollywood Freaky Details in GIMP) script for GIMP

As described by Pat David: Calvin Hollywood Freaky Details in GIMP
I have turned Pat David's instructions into a script.
:download:
freaky_details.zip #
zipped .py file (unzip and put in your GIMP's /plug-ins/ folder)
(1.61 KiB) Downloaded 51 times
:download:
freaky_details (2).zip #
version 2 works with G'MIC GTK
(1.68 KiB) Downloaded 17 times
:download:
freaky_details (3).zip #
version 3 works with G'MIC Qt
(1.71 KiB) Downloaded 24 times
Script Menu Location: Python-Fu > Freaky Details...

Instructions:
0. Have G'MIC installed for GIMP.
1. Have an image with a single layer of your image.
2. Run script, you can play with "Spatial variance" value and "Value variance" value as suggested by Pat David but the default of 25 and 20 should work.
3. Click "OK" to run script.
4. Done.

Sample output compared to original:

I have done some testing on a picture of a cat that I found and am posting them to see the effect of different settings of this filter.

Still playing with some of the scripts that I have not used much. Today I am comparing the original photo, Tin's Freaky details script, and the procedure that Pat David developed in GIMP/G'MIC for the Freaky Details procedure originated by Calvin Hollywood.

It wasn't that hard of a change once I installed G'MIC Qt and looked at the steps again from tutorial.
I thought nothing happened when I click on G'MIC-Qt from inside GIMP but it turns out it just needed some time to load up.
