Themes compatible with Gimp 2.10

Post#1 by Krikor » 12 Apr 2019, 21:02

Where can I find Themes for Gimp that are safe and run in versions 2.10 ?

I even like the default themes, but I'm using the versions (Portable Samj) 2.10.1, 2.10.6 and now I installed version 2.10.11 and a different interface would always make it easier to know which one I'm using.

Thx!

Sorry, I never really played with Themes before. Always used the default.

@Krikor , I have Samj's Portable 2.10.8. There you can choose between 4 theme's already.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Theme
and you'll see 4 different themes.

If you click on one of the themes you will immediately see the result. This makes it easy to choose.

I hope I did understand your question right...

I got this one from Pocholo on Gimp Chat.
It was installed in Gimp 2.8 but it seems to run fine in Gimp 2.10
I still use it in 2.8 but I use Dark in 2.10

Tim, how about experiencing !? Allow yourself this new experience! :cool:

Ella, these themes defaults of the Gimp I know, I was looking for outsourced Themes that present a very different face to the Gimp.

Tom, I researched but only found themes compatible with Gimp 2.8. I already downloaded and installed this Chin theme that you made available.
Thank you very much for your help!

Krikor, as we find ones that are compatible, we should probably add them to this thread so others can use them also. I am testing one now to see if it is OK. If it is, I will post it here.
