Pat, flipping logos IMO have a "defect" (or a risk, if you prefer): visitors/members are attracted by the logo more than by the new posts.
Like a too shining belt can "steal" the attention instead of inviting the passers-by to look at a nice dress worn by a pretty girl...hehehe

You can see it's a gif animation.
Why doesn't rotate it in the post itself?

No i got it okay.
styles/prosilver/theme/images/custom_lo ... _radar.gif
in folder: styles/prosilver/theme/images/custom_logos/
It's just if you attach the image using attach then it shows animation.
If you use "Add image to post" it goes to a third party site and they show an unanimated thumbnail. and when you click on the thumbnail then it shows animated. I just uploaded the wrong one the first time. now it's okay
