Weird. Here the interruption was only in the letter I.png.
And when I ran the plugin having removed that letter, the plugin converted all the letters without interruption or any problem.

It looks like there is a minimum width for the layer, and in this case it looks like it has to be at least 100 px. At least the font size I'm using.
Maybe because you use a much larger font, the minimum width is also a little bigger, so the letter C stopped on your system. But I'm just guessing.

But that is not a hindrance at all.
You can increase the width of the layer, run the script to convert to lowercase, and then adjust the layer back to its original dimensions.

I may have to hire you as a plug-in tester. Perhaps no-one else has ever used this feature.
