I was on GC. And there was a question about about creating Tiny Planets.
And so I g4 "how to make tiny planet in GIMP".
And found this YT video.

It looks interesting: I think I am gonna try to make one.

Here's my first try. I find it hard to get a good source image.

Hi tim, I'm subscribed on the "Gimp Workshop" YouTube channel. The person who made the tutorials was Jan.
On February 21 2019 he posted his last tutorial: "Little Planet filter (Tiny Planet) in Gimp 2.10.
After that, he passed away ...
He always posted his photo's he used so you could follow along. Also in this tutorial.

I'll post the link.

I watched it Ella, May do the tut. He always presented in a nice calm way. I love the effects he used to finish the tutorial!

Tim I haven't done the tutorials or watched the videos recently. You made a "tiny planet" image when you wrote your instructions for custom fonts and made an alphabet with buildings that went around the circle. It may be in your instructions for making a font, or in gimpchat's threads. I am not sure where to look or it. Anyway, I do not if that is any quicker than the methods in the videos. You could pick a specific building or landscapes that way.
