I know, but we have many links from this forum that links to gimpchat as reference...
but you're right...a slow (since it's cheap hosting) party but a party indeed.

Sadly, now the site doesn't even come up with a not found message, it just goes straight to some generic search page from my isp. Not a good sign.

We ought to band together and create our own GIMP site. Ive witnessed this happen over and over again since GIMP forums started on the internet. It would be incredibly sad if all the GIMP Chat archive is lost. GIMP Talk was always down, and now that its back up, no one goes there anymore. Sad sad sad...

I thought that's what http://gimp-forum.net/ is a bunch of people (4 I think) who banded together.

I don't care for the format of their forum. It's chilly there, bare bones. Nothing against them, they are all great people, just don't care for the minimalist approach and design.

Then you can stay here with me hehehe.
I have just emailed my hosting service details to upgrade this forum/website to a business pro plan (it's supposed to be 3 times as fast they say). Hopefuly, the speed will make your stay more pleasurable.

And hopefully, that'll get rid of the intermittently "Too many connection" error that i often see on here too (crossing my fingers).
