Okay tried the photoshop tree again. It's not only photoshop (which i'm clueless about) it's in another language and google translate did help out a little lol. I wasn't going for a perfect match but I was liking the practice on the dreaded paths tool :scared_smilie: .

Don't trust google translate completely, Nancy. Sometimes the translation is very weird (in fact, most of the time :lol:)
Nice try with the path tool :thumbsup: and a beautiful Christmas tree.
There are more Photoshop tutorials on the net than Gimp tutorials but I also try to fabricate them in Gimp.

Thank you Pat, it's true, a lot more PS tuts than gimp and trying to make understandable in Gimp is difficult at best. I have seen some converted to Gimp and looking at some of the steps the numbers and such can be off the charts different.

Nancy, if you see an image or tut done in PS or another program, post the link to that image or tut and ask if anyone can do it in GIMP. One of our experts may be able to do it without too much problem.
