Gradient Mapped from Dark Blue to Bright Yellow

Post#1 by trandoductin » 17 Oct 2016, 17:12

The original can be seen here -> Water Stream Lanscape
Here I duplicated layer.
Selected Dark blue for foreground color and bright yellow for background color and chose FG to BG (RGB) gradient.
Then Colors->Map->Gradient Map.
Then set the layer to Color Mode. It doesn't work on all images but it seemed pretty neat for this one.

I really like that color combination, very moody. I sometimes run Cyanotype on images (Filters-Artistic) to achieve similar results. First I've heard of map gradient, this will be helpful. Thank you.

I never heard of Cyanotype ... i'll go and try it now

EDIT: I don't see Cyanotype under Filters->Artistic. Did you install it from somewhere?
I see it now Cyanotype Script :learned_something:
