Unlike the GAT tools which only allows loading of guides in ABSOLUTE (in pixels).
This script can load guides with RELATIVE_MODE (in percentage) (for example if you saved a guide at 10% it'll load up on your image at 10%) which I assume will be used more often then absolute mode.
It saves all guides sets into a file under your [user]/.gimp-2.8/guides/guides.txt file
Here's the script
Menu location of script: Save Option (just a name): Load Options (Guide's name, Remove existing guides or not, and Load Method): the guidex.txt file will look something like this format
Code: Select all
Guide:10% border|6000.0,4000.0|400.0,3600.0|600.0,5400.0 Guide:Cross|6000.0,4000.0|2000.0|3000.0 Guide:My Guides 1|640.0,400.0|200.0,360.0,40.0|320.0,576.0,64.0 Guide:My Guides 2|480,300|40,200|64,320
The second part is Width and Height of image that the guides were saved on.
Next is a list of horizontal guides (y-positions in pixels).
Next is a list of vertical guides (x-positions in pixels).
