Brilliant tutorial Conbagui, thankyou. Have you any suggestions where I could learn more about using LayerFX please?

Thank you Conbagui!
Here is my progress so far!
I see small errors with selectable pattern as of now,
so a few adjustments before done.

Good job, and I'm sorry I keep forgetting to include things. :(
As oldmangrumpy wrote at one of his tutorials:

"Also hopefully there are no errors, but as always, proof reading your own work is difficult."

That is very true.
So no problem at all as Issabella and Pat already pointed out.

Good result animicule. I used a wooden pattern, but you can use any pattern you preferred, I alway leave it to the artist choice.

Still working on script of your tutorial. Going to have choice of patterns. For best results decided to rotate the cap, then can still use
layerfx pattern overlay. When rotating the cap I was sidetracked and made my first animation in Gimp. I always learn from Conbagui's
tutorials (even if it is not what he is teaching). Oh, it is too large to post. I will try to fix it. Here is a regular picture with the wood grain.
