How to do "zoomed textured colored" effect.

Image
1. Have your image as an active layer.
2. Duplicate the layer.
3. Colors/Invert the duplicated layer.
4. Scale the duplicated layer to 95%. Set Opacity to 50%.
5. Alpha to selection the duplicated layer. Crop Image to selection.
6. Merge visible layer.
7. You're left with a single layer.
8. Now make copies of layer and threshold it to different thresholds (to taste) and Color-to-Alpha (pick white color) so that black is left behind.
9. Then Lock the alpha channel of the left behind black and fill it with different colors.
10. That's it.
Script is now available to help with this process

Tin do have to use photos with the background removed? Do you need to start out black and white? I'm sorry i'm asking so many questions but I really like the look and would like to try myself.

No you can start out with any image, doesn't have to black and white.
