How to install G'MIC for GIMP

This is specifically for Windows, not sure about Linux.

Have GIMP and download G'MIC.
1. Have GIMP installed already.
2. Get either G'MIC Qt or G'MIC GTK from http://gmic.eu/gimp.shtml (G'MIC Qt is highly recommented, but you could install both version if you wanted to)

Install G'MIC
1.For the G'MIC GTK you just have to run the installer file and it'll automatically install it for you.
For the G'MIC Qt, unzip the .zip download, you'll see a single folder named according to your 32 or 64 bit. Copy the content of this folder into your GIMP's /plug-ins/ directory.
2. Restart GIMP.

Running G'MIC
1. Check under menu Filters.
2. You'll see G'MIC-Qt and/or G'MIC-GTK (depending on which you installed).
3. After clicking that you might have to wait a few seconds before the G'MIC interface shows up. Like for me Qt took me quite a few seconds I thought nothing was happening and thought i installed it wrong turns out i just needed to wait few extra seconds.

Do I have to uninstall previous version(s) or does it overwrite?

I am not too sure about that, I think it should overwrite (but I could be wrong).

If you do not want the previous version installed, remove it before you install the new one. I have both 1.79 and 2.0 so that I can use some scripts that require the older version. Both seem to work well and are installed into the same plug in folder.
