If it's spring there must be snakes

As part of my old age maintenance program, I go for a 4 kilometre walk at 6 o'clock every morning through the parks and bush reserves near my home - there was something very different about this morning's walk - multiple signs that I have not seen before.

A walk at 6 o'clock, that's very early in the morning.
At the moment I'm a bit tiered, thought all the light peaces on the bridge and the rocks were snakes
Almost time for me then to go to bed :off_to_bed_purple:

There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.

If it is legal, you could get a pet mongoose and walk it with you!

According to the Huffington Post list of the world's most venomous snakes, Australia has 21 of the top 25

My Uncle Merle back in about 1962.
Looks like a western diamondback with a large hole in it....
Had to convert this one from a slide.
Not trying to give you other ideas...

Animicule - no way I would get that close - here is a shot I took of an eastern brown snake, rated as the second most venomous in the world, which obviously did not make it across the road in the Capertee Valley on the western slopes of our Blue Mountains. It was a large one about 2 metres in length.
