Can not help Ella with German, more English I fear.

This is a video tutorial, one that I never generally posted because it is very slow and too long. However it does go through the whole process so might help someone. It does show that pluginrc file and where to find it

If you edit addonCollectionManager.ini at line 28 you will see that jpeg is not considered (extensions:.jpg .png .pat .JPG .PNG .PAT), hence add .jpeg and .JPEG and you will get them loaded

Not everyone uses an ini file. The plugin works without one.

I use an ini file, because I prefer the resources in a single menu entry rather than right-click in individual dialogues (and help for scripts)

It is a matter of preference.

It's a recommendation of the author (ofnuts) to use always the .ini whenever possible. The .ini prevails on the .py defaults.
This tool was created by ofnuts exactly to avoid the direct modification to the filter.

, it doesn't matter that the video is very slow and long.
I think I begin to understand a bit now.

BTW my language isn't German it's Dutch (Flemish). No big deal anyway :) Most things are in English.

Dinasset, your explanation "far over my head." But I suppose that wasn't meant for me :)
