Just keep on learning with GIMP; now to find a way to make different objects move at different speeds. I know others are doing it and I think they are using multiple gifs and merging them. As my signature says ... never stop learning -

As seen in the animation There are two fish,They start at the same time,But the first fish is faster than the second one.
how do I do that !?

Image

On the image above you See in my layers dialog Fish 1 and fish 2 and the background layer.
I select fish 1And click 20 times On the arrow forward on my keyboard.
Then I select fish 2 1And click 10 times On the arrow forward on my keyboard.
I save the first image in my fish folder

Image

Then I repeat the movement,
Select fish 1 And click 20 times On the arrow forward on my keyboard.
Then I select fish 2 1And click 10 times On the arrow forward on my keyboard.
I save the second image in my fish folder

Image

And so I repeat the movement And save every move in my fish folder

Image

Till we are at the end And ready for the animation.
Please note that we quickly get a large number of images

Image

For this simple explanation I already had 32 images,But the result is That fish 1 arrives faster than the fish 2.
I hope this brief explanation is Enough to work out your animations ideas.
gimper

nb. In the attachment the 32 images which I made this explanation
