Perspective - A lesson (re)learned

Post#1 by oldmangrumpy » 27 Sep 2017, 23:59

This is for the benefit of all of us who fell into GIMP accidentally or whom do not profess to be artists or who have had no artistic training. Typically we are here just for the fun that GIMP provides and many of us may be in our senior years.

But today I learned a lesson on perspective that I should have learned previously and in some way thought I had. But I have just read a document called How To Draw With Perspective by Paul Heaston and now I have seen the light. Not just what is perspective, but how to draw/check perspective and get it right in the first place, with methods and diagrams so easy to understand.

I downloaded the PDF from this site http://www.clarissaupchurch.co.uk/wp-co ... tive_3.pdf

I think though that it may be available in many places.

Thank you Dinasset for pushing me in this direction once again.
