:hammer_head:
Downloaded, unzipped into my plug-ins.
Nada... nothing shows up in Gimp
Like I confessed elsewhere, I'm clueless about using scripts

Try restarting GIMP (You have to do that with .py scripts)

I think you have to pretend that I just arrived from planet Pluto
The simple statement "run script" is totally ambiguous to me...
1. I can't find the script
2. Assuming I did other than clicking on it,how does one "run" the script?

A: Yes, I restarted Gimp
B: I also read everything in the manual about scripts (except writing them)
C: I loaded the unzipped file in the plug-ins, I see it there
D: I looked under File>Create... nothing there regarding scripts
E: clicked load console = nothing
F: clicked preferences>folders, scripts and plug-ins = nothing

Don't want to be a pain in the rear, but I'm intrigued with the possibilities of Gimp and would dearly love to use/access them...

sorry I thought you ran a script before..
In the first post I have Script Menu Location as "Script Menu location: Python-Fu/Picture to Line Art"
That's where you'll find it... so you'll see a Menu Python-Fu then Picture to Line Art... kind'a like File/Open but except not
