Pixel Art for Video Games (First character)

I started taking this other course that teaches how to do pixel art (decided to start it at the same time as the Game Development/Design course so i can switch back and forth between the 2 courses so I don't get bored, at least i think so since taking a break from one course and go on to another is more healthy..sort'a like in school how you have different subjects and they interweave from day to day).
Here's a first piece i learned from pixel art course.
A character with no faces.

PS: My character is not as balanced as the teacher's character but it is better than anything i have came up with pixels since i have no experience in pixel art. I am quite happy with my tummy forward character.

Thanks RJKD for believing in me. I wanted to take my time learning these courses well because I want to remember them.
Last couple of times I tried to power through the online courses what i found was what i understood i didn't retain info because of short time span. Not enough time for information to sink in.

Heaven only knows I get it! A friend has just given me a Lynda python course, I'm going to wait while winter, to many garden distractions now.

Repetition, repetition, repetition. Keep doing it until it is engraved in your brain. You are very good at this stuff so there is no doubt in my mind that you will be very good at this. Besides. You have the "Tin Team" here at Gimp Learn cheering you onward!
