Helping someone reddit with putting green designer

They saw my one of javascript puzzle game and contacted me to help with
allowing customers to assemble their own (mini-golf) putting greens.
start blank grid: https://cs-pattern.com/green/design.html

A design in progress:
https://cs-pattern.com/green/design.html?data=x7x8xxxxxXx6x4xxxxxXxx13x0x8xxxXxxx6x5xxxX7x11x8xxxxxXxxxxxxxXxxxxxxxXxxxxxxxXxxxxxxx&fbclid=IwAR2haPm-iZSjr0ftpulfuTdbbwPvJNH2uQh0EpDDdPUa5OOFKh2obBHJ6g0.

I have tested this to great extend.
Left mouse moves single piece, middle mouse (or 2-finger touch) drags/moves individual groups of touching pieces.
Red-Highlight indicates missing or invalid piece with a red line pointing to the piece it's trying to do validation or rule checking from.

If you try it and luck out and find any invalid case that should be highlighted in red or any highlighted in red that should be valid, please let me know.

I have sent so many upgrades to the person I am trying to help and maybe they're busy, they haven't gotten back to me to tell me what they think of it ...yet. I think this is one of like the funnest thing I ever done that has or might have real-life application.

I've read it and reread it a few times, but I confess I have no idea what it's about or what's expected here.
I don't know what the arrows and red circles mean, what should be mounted.
Sorry but this is beyond my understanding.

Red circle just hints that you need another piece in that location to make a valid design.
and the line to tells you why it's needing it ..it's spawning off from the piece that it's pointing to.

Tried, but I definitely have no idea what should be done here. Not even what I did.

I think I understood it a little better, but still hazy.
These red indications are still unknown; maybe too sharpen?

I'll keep trying after lunch, it's 12:01 am here now.

Thanks for the video, I put subtitles in my language and I could understand most of it!

yeah, all your errors are because you're trying to make sharp angles that isn't allowed by the pieces.

I made another attempt which resulted in some red alerts.
So I'm trying to remove these alerts trying to find how to smooth the shapes.
For that, I tried to open the assembly in progress in :
https://cs-pattern.com/green/design.htm ... 9x9x9xxx3x

One thing I noticed is that you can't select more than one group using the center mouse button,

In the ongoing process it is impossible to move only the bottom group.
https://cs-pattern.com/green/design.htm ... 5xXxxxxxxx

Although I interpret as having 3 groups (one on the top left, one on the right and one on the bottom), when I try to select only the bottom group the left group on top is selected together.

So far I still can't see the sharp links, I only know of their existence after the red indicators appear.

Continue ( links not confiables)

I copied the links from images 01 and 02. Then I shared them in my previous post:

Link 01:
https://cs-pattern.com/green/design.htm ... 9x9x9xxx3x

Link02:
https://cs-pattern.com/green/design.htm ... x12xxxxx13

But when using the links I noticed that they don't show the real situation of the image from which they originated.

I cannot select only the group below.
When I try to move the entire bottom group only, the top group is moved too.
Only the group on the right can be moved separately.

Ok, just fine and working now!
