Thank you all for the comments.

I was thinking the same, Pat.

Tim already created a script on GC "Rotate Plane Animation."
It can rotate horizontal, vertical or both.
A very good script but you can't give the animation any depth.

Animicule, is it possible to make a box instead of a cylinder out of the basic layers ?
So you can see the rim like in the rotating coin.

Hope I made my question a bit clear :)

Yes, make a layer for the top and bottom,
but also a layer for each of the 4 sides (edges),
and the choose the map box option!

Yes I know, animicule. But then I have to rotate the box step by step.
I can't use the script for it. That creates a cylinder.

Ella,
I am working on a few things nearly done, then the box will be next.
This is all learning for me, so only so much at a time!
(there was more to my reply, must have erased by accident)...

I only asked the question because you posted...

OK Ella choice of <- or ->
Anything else? Even if you don't think it may be possible...
I don't mind if I have to do this all manually.
It was only a suggestion to make an extra possibility to the script.

I know learning takes a lot of time.

Thank you Ella,
I am enjoying leaning to make scripts.
Thank you for your ideas.

Two tests only at far.
This one rotates left then right with RGB layers.
The 2nd test was a photo layer, Map object didn't behave as expected,
and resized oddly. Result not good.
