According to alexa.com
Similar_websites_by_audience.png
Similar_websites_by_audience.png # (11.77 KiB) Viewed 103 times (Watermarked | Thumbnail)
gimpscripts.com in 1st place kind'a makes sense since gimpscripts.com has scripts and we also have gimp scritps.
gimp-forum.net in 2nd place is a surprise since gf is more questions and answers.
mahvin.com in 3rd place (I guess we do have links and scripts based on mahvin.com)
meetthegimp.org in 4th place I don't even know about this site
gimp-science-labs.blogspot.com in 5th place (I might have a link or 2 to this site)

But what surprised me the most is that gimpchat.com isn't in the top 5. :fb_wow:

meetthegimp is/was a video blog by Rolf Steinort a teacher in Germany and started off in 2007 and Gimp 2.4

If you are just starting with Gimp and interested in photography then it is still worth watching (might have to download it) the very first episode. I have most episodes archived on CD but they are still available, many on youtube and widely viewed.

As with many things on the web, people get older, switch jobs, things change. The site is still there but there has not been much in the way of episodes recently. If I have any criticism of the later videos, on the long side and somewhat verbose.
