Studied a few Photoshop tutorials and then made this in Gimp.

Experimenting with layer effects, chisel or carve, bump mapping and a lot of other things :P till I like my outcome.

Ella - unusual effect with the jockey/horse and I do really like the wood carving, which is simple yet effective.
