Ella - arrived home from hols at midnight, after 23 hours flying and tried to sleep, but could not ... so here is my challenge response #1 first attempt. I will try for a more subtle pattern in the glass later on today and also seek to get a smoother finish to that glass..

OMG i'm completely surprised with your outcomes
Especially your second attempt. And that after more than 23 hours being awake.
Couldn't imagine the Blender outcome could be reproduced in Gimp.
I even like the base of the object much more than mine.
