Ella's gallery

Hi Ella,
Well ... my first attempts did not work out very well, but I still had fun trying ...
In order to have a reference and make comparisons to where I was coming from, I used an image previously used by Pat625, thx Pat! Image by Issabella - Available at: https://gimplearn.net/viewtopic.php/Pub ... 253#p21253
Thank you Issabella!

If you could some how make the colors go in direction of the texture it would look like painting.

I know nothing as to how to do any of that, so I will leave you to figure that out!
You are a very skilled coder, so that might be a possibility.

Hi Ella, thank you! I was really just trying to recreate the effect of the script, but I think it would need a good texture image. Anyway, thanks for the fun.
Tim, great observation! This led me to yet another attempt. But I'm already satisfied with the experiments I've done.
Tim, did you mean something like what I did in this picture below?

Ella, the filter looks really good ... But as I said before, in your hands could not be less than perfect!

Yeah closer to what I was thinking not quite because the texture still cross color boundaries. but definitely closer to what i was thinking.
If each of the texture brush looking thing would only be one color at a time i mean then it would like patches of color added on separately such as real oil painting.

@Krikor Thank you for this big compliment. But now you set the bar very high for me

I also have less beautiful outcomes and days when nothing seems to work ...
