Working on a script can take a lot of time, I think. Don't know anything about it.
But looking forward to your animation script :)

Hundreds of hot air balloons I don't see here. Regularly I see a few coming over.
This weekend there's a balloon meeting not far from here. I then will see a few more, if the weather allows it.

Here's not as much space as where you live, I presume.
Hundreds can't take off here.

Thanks for the links. It looks like it's a tradition for many years.

Thank you for the links also!
That must be a wonderful celebration!
Balloon launches from the center of the city, really cool!

And yes, there is a great amount of farmland in my state.
Mostly flat land on this (the East) side of the state.
Rolling fields of grains, corn and beans with full horizons
nearly everywhere outside of town.
Your FREE background photo could have been taken here.

Animicule, I surfed a bit on the internet to find photo's and information about South Dakota, such a beautiful place with very wide views!
South Dakota 199.905 km² and Belgium 30.528 km², a big difference.
If my Free background could be a photo out of your region, indeed it is a magnificent place.

Population of SD 865,454 (in 2016) and that's too darn many!
Belgium 11.35 million (2016) --- I couldn't even imagine

Thank you for that beautiful photo, animicule. Did you make it yourself ?

I found a lot of gorgeous pictures of South Dakota on the internet, but all copyrighted I think.
This one I found on Pixabay and edited it.
I took a little piece out of a poem by William Wordsworth, an English poet, but the text goes very well with many views all over the world.
