I'm getting crazy with 2.10.
since I started Gimp 2.0 already there go a few years until 2.8.22. I've never had problems.
  I changed to 2.10 and it only gives problems, and worse still everyone
comments, that several Scripts and Pulg-ins work and I do not.
I have already installed and deployed dozens of times

The version from Ella, works here Win10 / Gimp 2.10.6 however, the same problem cropped up on g-f.net and just adding the shebang that first line #!/usr/bin/env python to the script seemed to work

The usual remove old versions, unzip, pop it in your gimp-profile plug-ins folder

Did you set the file permissions to executable? You have to do that on linux
