Using AddOnCollectionManager for plug-ins (SOLVED)

Probably another dumb question, however I've got a 'clean' Gimp and want to keep it that way (give rich some smelling salts)…
I understand how to use AOCM for brushes etc, can I use it for scripts and plug-ins? Is it just a case of creating _storage sub folders?
Also I've got many 64bit plug-ins unpacked, do I unpack and copy content to plug-ins folder?

Yes, you have to create a _storage folder for each resource you want to manage.
The (ofnuts).ini file (or the (ofnuts).py if you do not use an .ini file) should allow the use for each of the resources you want to manage, as for instance:
enable:brushes fonts gradients palettes patterns scripts.
But plug-ins are NOT managed by the AOCM, you have to link the folders thru Preferences

Thankyou dinasset. Your answer has also helped with a question that's been on my mind a while and that is how to manage fonts in a more efficient way, brilliant.
