Issabella, another nice unique one! I love the colors and h?ow they blend.

PhotoMaster, If I may ask, what happened to your GIMP? Was it because of the 2.10 versions? I had multiple problems with 2.10.6 and worse with 2.10.8. Still having problems but not nearly as much.

beautiful work gals :D
This tutorial has been mentioned on blog: https://gimplearn.blogspot.com/2019/01/ ... -plug.html
and in the first of post of this tutorial I have link to plug-in for future reference down the road.
And I have added optional step 5 instruction of this plug-in to go see this tutorial for users that might find the plug-in first.

Issabella, your results are already very much evolved. I am still a beginner, still have to study everything with great attention.

My second outcome.

Ella and Pat, thanks for your nice comments. I like your results as they are so interesting.
I still have to practice a lot with this nice plug-in because I don't know what is going to be the result previously. :computer_smiley:

Ella this was such a fun tutorial thank you!! Tin this is an amazing plug-in! I'm just spotting it so i'm not really sure what i'm doing just yet but Ella you made it easy enough that even I could follow along :hearts_smiley: . All of everyone's outcomes are incredible, so beautiful! I gave a couple tries.

Gorgeous, gorgeous images everyone....the same tut & such different results... :pompom: ...

But here's a complete newbie who's going to ask some very newbie questions... :) ...

I'm doing this tut in 2.10.8 so of course some of the tools are a bit different, but I think (hope) I have most of that sorted.

Before running the Lined Path plugin, the tut says: "Make a new transparent layer"
Is this new transparent layer supposed to be on the layer tab or the paths tab in the layers dialogue?

Also, when I click on the paths tab, is it normal that the visibility (the eye) is turned off?

Many Thanks,

FlutteringBy, On the layer tab (as the paths tab is only paths/vectors and they're default to invisible [the eye turned off]).

Thanks Tim, that's good to know....

I'm sure I sat there for a good 5 min. waiting for something to happen before I clued in that the "eye" wasn't visible.... ...
