The hand of Midas (Ella) living up to the title. :paint

Ella, the owl ... that look looks alive. I couldn't decide on windmill.jpg or houses.jpg. Perhaps the windmill featured more this technique, but I liked the medieval aspect of houses.jpg.

It takes practice to find images suitable for this technique, but by then the fun is guaranteed.

Issabella - thank you for the tutorial; stupid me had a couple of 'blue layers' turn up where I interpreted the 2.10 instructions wrongly for 2.8 :oops:

However, here is my first try; actually I probably prefer it without the grid.

I also found that it took a while to find a suitable photo. I found one of a rock formation that was the approximate size for a good outcome. I did experiment a bit to see how the different colors affected the drawing.
