Sorry I did not get to this earlier. I had company with kids and pets so no time for the gimping I wanted to do. Will try to catch up.
Very nice effect, Dinasset. I really like it.
Issabella, great job on the tutorial. Very easy to follow. Those screenshots always help.

Lovely work, Ella! Texture on the first one shows up so well. Really adds to the overall image.

Thank you. I really do enjoy my grandchildren, but they wear me out!

I understand, Pat 😊
But the children don't understand grandparents are no longer twenty-one.
And that's so tiring 😴

You are so right! But you love them so much, it is wonderful when they visit. They live about a 5 hr. drive from us so we do not get to see them often.

Issabella - I reached step 5 and then realised this tutorial is geared to 2.10 using features not in 2.8. So, my apologies again, I will need to catch up on this tut when I eventually update my GIMP.

Ella, wonderful results.
Pat, it's important to enjoy the grandchildren as much as possible as time passes so quickly. ;)
OMG, I'm sorry that you can't follow the tutorial until the end. Don't worry, when you change your Gimp version, you'll be able to do it. But I thank your interest in doing it. :thank_you:

OMG, if you want to try Issa's tutorial just replace these modes:
- HSV_VALUE with VALUE
- HSL_COLOR with COLOR
The tut should work also on 2.8
