Just one quick question if you can help? Where do I place the application and application extension once unzipped?

Place both the .exe and the .dll in your user/.gimp/plug-ins folder.

I just checked the .exe on Windows 7, 32 bit, Gimp 2.10,11. It worked well. Please read over the above instructions again and make sure your image to be painted does Not have an alpha layer. You must also have blas.dll in the same plug-in folder. It is included in the zip.folder along with blas.dill.

Hope this helps.

RedThunder, the COLORIZATION plugin works in Windows 10 64-bit Gimp 2.10.12. It shows up at the bottom of the COLORs menu.

Pat65: Thank you :yay_yay_purple: thank you :yay_yay_purple: thank you :yay_yay_purple: I wasn't previously aware of this plug-in. I feel like I've been rescued from a rather expensive software purchase that would have led to the same end. Glad I let its trial-period expire. If I still smoked I believe I'd have a very smug cigar.

Well, if you are going to smoke a cigar, might as well have a glass of good wine with it! :wine_smiley:
