Pat625 wrote:Very good images, Ella. You put a good spin on the Gold and Black, and the heart in the lightbulb. I've seen the lightbulb tutorial before, but the heart is a great idea
Most of my outcomes are made with a tutorial, Pat. I've not much inspiration myself :)
Sometimes I try to give them a personal touch like the heart for instance.
The Black and Gold tutorial from Conbagui I found on the net. The one he posted later on Gimp Learn.

Ella - neat outcomes with the light bulbs, well done. Inspiration comes in many ways and is 'infectious', so I will now look to have a play with light bulbs too - thanks.

For those that would like to play with the light bulb I am posting the PDF of the tutorial. It also has stated in it the web site on which I found it some time ago.

Ella - thank you for the inspiration - here is an image of a light globe that I created based on yours and I also made the light gobe with heart into a brush for you to play with. It is attached below and you can selectively change its colour using the 'colorization' filter.

Thank you for the reactions dinasset, Conbagui and Pat.

Pat, really kind of you to post the PDF so others can make the light bulb too.

Thanks for the brush you made, OMG :golden_wilber: I will download it.

Made in Gimp by this Photoshop Tutorial.
A bit darker and added a few of my own effects :)

Wonderful Ella !

PS: I "hate" video tutorials, hence I can't evaluate it as an inspiration

Thank you, dinasset.
By lack of inspiration I use them and most of the time learn something new.
