Photography feel.

While browsing on GC being logged out. I saw an ad that grabbed my attention.

It gave me a feel of photography, emphasized by the colors and transparency which makes me think of film.
So I tried to replicate this feel maybe with my own little twist because I am not sure of exact method that was used to create the ad.
On mine, I just colorized the layers and played with transparency. Hopefully it gives you feel of photography like the ad did for me.

The ad would be great for my non-existent photography business. :fb_haha:

Tim, This made me think of using channels, so I did a quick, uncolored test, just using blue and red channels.

A second attempt, still not satisfactory. But perhaps it is possible to achieve this result only with channels, and other adjustments to give the desired tone, especially in blue.

Again using channels and giving a setting in blue tone.

You're probably more closer to how the ad was originally created. Using channels.
Here's my play with channels.

And I thought I would play with a front photographer at a 65% opacity and a front photographer at 69% addition mode.

I'll take a look at your .xcf
Here I used layers modes to brighten the blue generated by the blue channel.

Yah, It's cool
I would need to refine the tones more to get the desired result; the red became pale. But you can get an idea of how I was doing by looking at the (.xcf) attachment.
