An outstanding result, IMO. How do you remove the yellow hue from the photo, David? And how did you get the lamp post vertical? hehehe I couldn't.
Here my poor try.

Issabella,
Yours is also an excellent result.
On my try I got the lamp post vertical by using the Measure tool, followed by Transform/Rotate.
The yellow hue was removed by Desaturation.

Now we need some photographs from others - everyone must becoming bored by these old pictures of Argostoli!!!

Issabella,
Thank you for the photographs.

My tries: Barrels - perspective correction, DD Luminosity Mask to bring out detail in the barrels, cropped.
View: Darkened the foreground, removed the reflections(?) in the window, colour boost. Fixed the hedge!!!

Wow! I find your work on them great. Not easy to repair so many details and so good realization. :gimp_clap:

Apologies to all!!! I said I would not post more photographs of Argostoli, but I came across several pictures of the de-Bosset bridge which I thought worthy of improvement.
Here is the first of them.

David, Thanks for your nice photos. I love them.
here my humble try. I used Luminosity Masks and then something of whitish correction and sharpen, too.

I tried, also, David. Used White balance, then some play with levels, and curves. Also some sharpening.
