I just stated my preference, it's totally personal, subjective. Anyone can have another preference, or not.

Not sure how useful it will be,

When framing a photo/image.
Imagine that it is divided up by the grid above.
Think about the most important elements of the photo,
try to position them at, or near the lines and intersections of the grid.
They don't have to be perfectly lined up;
as long as they're close.
