When you rotate a layer, there are empty/transparent spaces around the image as the image is rotated.
This script will fill neighboring spaces with the same layer information so that the rotate is all filled in.
Script Menu Location:
1. Have an image opened with your selected/active layer.
2. Run Script (
Python-Fu/Fill Rotate...). Choose angle of rotation in degrees, select YES/NO to mirror. Hit OK.
3. That's it.
