GIMP 2.10 Scripts/Plug-ins

I've tried Fence Post's denim scheme script, but it gives me errors. Is it possible to update it to a python fu plugin? I had brought the plugin to light on Gimpchat and I was told to edit the scheme script. However, I have no clue where to start if I were to update it.

change the line in error into:
(plug-in-bump-map RUN-NONINTERACTIVE image denimLayer patternLayer 135.0 45.0 3 0 0 1.0 0 TRUE TRUE 2) ;;;255>1.0
