Select Random Zigzag Plug-in

If you just select a polygon with random points, it'll cross-over each other and create interesting alternating
positive/negative space.
This plug-in allows you to specify a number of random points to select with.

version 2.
Selects outside of boundaries so that image is properly filled with randomness rather than limited to inner boundary

Plug-in Menu Location: Python-Fu/Select Random Zigzag...

Instructions:
  1. Have an image opened with active layer(s).
  2. Run Plug-in (Python-Fu/Select Random Zigzag...). Choose number of points to randomly select from. Click OK to run.
  3. Now you have a random zigzag selection (alternating positive and negative space) to work with.
Example usage/result.
Here I have 2 layers (different images), then I used the plug-in to make a selection and simply clear/delete the selected area.

@Issabella , nice pieces.
What did you do to your layers to get different looks? just contrast? darken?
You meant so fun right? funny means it's laughable, I don't think it's funny.

Sorry Tin for my poor English. I meant it is enjoyable as one can get different looks after running the plug.
I had "funny" word as similar in meaning to enjoy and I didn't want to do any offense.
I did different steps on each result after running the plug.
On the first one, I applied contrast.
On the second one, I desaturated the selection and then colorize and layer mode.

IMO nothing wrong in using also "funny", according to Webster dictionary it means "amusing".

I didn't know funny could be used as "amusing". Always thought it meant closer to silly.

With version 2, the selections are outside of boundaries so your image is filled with shapes rather than limited to inner boundary points.
Here i used selection then border selected to create this effect.
