Hi gang,

I'm developing a new GIMP plug-in. I call it Roller. Roller's purpose is to make compositions like wallpaper.

This is version 1.30. Published on December 4, 2020. This version has a new 3D effect called Rounded Edge. The code has gone through a significant revision as it is now organized into modules. Worry not, the install process is still a copy and paste operation. There are also several fixes, none critical, and improvements, such as the Gradient Fill backdrop style has some new options.

Roller uses GTK.

I made this image using Roller with some of my artwork. I had 72 image files open.

This format has 7 rows and 9 columns and a resize type of Trim.

This is the Backdrop Image options dialog in Roller 1.20. The new options are Blur and "Fit Image to Render".

In this sample, I am using Roller 1.20. The image has a randomly generated Mystery Grate and Clear Frame. Clear Frame produces an addition subtle shadow in 1.20.

This is an example of the backdrop style, Mystery Grate, that was added in version 1.14.
