Update to Custom Font Sheen N Shine for Gimp 2.10 to V0.08 Tabbed

Download and install the plug-in to your user plug-ins folder.

Menu location:

Filters>>Custom Font Tools>>Custom Font Sheen N Shine v.0.08 Tabbed...

This update uses the GimpUI 3 tabbed dialog thanks to the work of Arakne and MareroQ.

I have added a number of new options and renamed some old options in this version of adding a shine effect which was originally coded by Graechan.

I have provided some examples for the new options below...

Increase the value of the Edge depth option to firm up the shine effect.

Set to 1:

Use Hard Light mode to force the highlight to white.

Increase the Shine effect modifier value to add a high gloss effect with the shine.

Here set at 1 (I usually reduce the opacity of the shine with this effect):

Increase the value of the Shine blur option to produce a softer shine effect.

The older 'Tweak emboss' option has now been renamed to 'Emboss edge blur extent'. I have also taken the opportunity to add a separate option for selecting a mode to use with the Sheen effect (these options remain unchanged).
